I'm back ...I think.
Do you ever find yourself tucked in at night under your fresh, cool sheets, cosseted by the darkness, and then realise ...damn, who am I? ...didn't think so.
But for anyone out there who can understand the power of deep thinking and the confusion of an over-active imagination, then please take comfort in knowing ... you are not alone.
I'm laying in bed, squinting at this box-screen mobile phone, and typing away to relieve my brain of its creative pressure before sleep grabs a hold of me. I do not have the effort in me to include colourful pictures or hilarious video footage, so we shall just have to make do with the basics. I apologise in advance if typo's pop-up now and again, but let's face it, who dosen't say 'fuck it' when it comes to writing a blog when you're half dead .
This is why I try to remain true to being a writer, as I'm sure many of you will agree, it's theraputic, a method to use when all else fails, when that squishy, bloody, heap of a control point sitting under your skull has been over-worked, we turn to the written word to extract those worries, ideas, emotional thoughts and regrets to have them staring back at us in black and white. To shine a light on what was dark and to provide a refreshing new point of view.
All this speaking of brain extracting got me thinking of that scene in Harry Potter 4 (I think), when Dumbledore untangled and removed his whispy, blue line of thought and laid it to rest among others in a bowl of eternal memories ...wouldn't that be useful? Then, after our minds are free from memories (some painful, some wonderful), and relieved from concerns and OCD planning ...might we be able to activate the 80% of our brain, that we don't use? If asylum patients or creative genuises, either go insane or contribute to world revelations by using only 20% of this squishy matter ...what would happen to us if dare use even 99.9% of our brains? Would it explode? Would it start to dribble out our eyes and make a great escape for a simpler individual? What if ... we are capable of using our entire brains? And we've just been programmed, or controlled to use considerably less to prevent us tapping into the imaginitive, spiritually, powerful beings that we are.
I truly believe that if I were to write about everything I've ever thought of, it would surpass the about of books in my bedroom library. Or the amount of times I randomly change subject might be giving those of you who are reading whiplash. This is why it is better, sometimes, to come into a blog with a strong indication of one topic, and stick to it. When you know I'm writing out of the blue, especially at night ...just ...brace yourselves, ok Bloggers?
Maybe someday I shall write about my adventures, both inside and out of my head. When the wounds start to heal and the tears proceed to dry, things will be easier to let go of. I'll let you decide. If followers start appearing, then I shall become your storyteller, but if not ...then I trust in you to keep it to myself.
Goodnight Blogger, thank you for your assistance. And to whoever is reading this, I may not know you, but thank you for reading.
